Goa
I had never thought of being in Goa for this long (56 days). Its not father's transfer or something but training. It might sound funny;training in Goa.
I arrived here a "little" before the reporting day (2 days beforehand). Stay is in BITS-Pilani,Goa campus. I must admit its beautiful. I would like to describe it as a 'bit' less than marvelous. The hostel rooms can be summed up in just two words- "well planned". Summarising, this campus leaves you with little complains. Professors here seem to be friendly, so against what their designation suggests ALWAYS. Anyways they are too friendly for me to like them.
Weather here is hot and humid (during this part of the year) and stinky (fishes all around and this is throughout the year).I saw someone eating a fish. I dont know whom was i pitying actually myself for bearing the smell or the fish for it was being eaten.
Lets come to the training center. Its Mormugao Port Trust. It looks so not like the government office. But the people do seem to be like typical government officers and so does their canteen( as they call it,though i would prefer calling it 'some' room with edibles). I have my training at their plant first. Later i shall be indoors (headquarters).
Huffff!! Now my first trip to a sandy salty sea beach near our campus. All the people from my training center took the help of a friend belonging to this campus. He turned out to be a great tourist guide. We have suggested him to start doing a part-time job as well. Its called Bogmola. Initially we found it difficult to even pronounce the name but have finally learnt to. It was though a small beach. I have been to beach before but it was a little (this is just to respect the fact that it was my first experience at a beach, else i would use a hell lot) dirty. But this one was actually clean. Waves were high. Very disturbed water. It was beatiful. The water was too salty. Did hurt myself at the beach by the stones there. But those are like the sweet memories from the place. The splashing water works wonders on your tired self. It was relaxing and fun. We even plan to visit sometime during rains just to watch the water. But the salty water can act as awesome itching agent. It is seriously itchy after all that fun yet its worth all that.
